Accessible Transportation

Greene County Transit operates the Greene Circulator Service and the Charlottesville Link Service as a demand-response, door-to-door, public transportation system.  Services are provided for older adults, people with disabilities, shoppers, workers, and for any other transportation needs that are required by the residents of Greene County.  Transportation may be provided to doctor's appointments, pharmacy needs, shopping, work, library, Senior Citizen Center, sports events, etc.

Staff members of Greene County Transit, Inc. are regularly trained in public relations, safety, efficiency, and many other areas of interest pertaining to public service.  If you have questions or a concern on the day of your trip, please call the dispatch office at 434-296-3184 (use option 3). In order to eliminate person-to-person contact, Greene County Transit has temporarily eliminated fares.
