Bristol Virginia Transit offers a public fixed route and paratransit and flexible schedule transportation in the city of Bristol.
Fixed route service is available with convenient pickup and drop-off points along the routes, including Most businesses near Exit 7, Super Wal-Mart, Kroger, and Food City stores. Three buses operate five days a week. See Map of the Routes
An exact change is required. Fare range from $1.00 for adults, $.50 for seniors and adults with disabilities, to $2.00 for ADA paratransit. Reduced fares are offered during off-peak hours from 10 am to 2 pm for senior citizens, Medicare cardholders, and individuals with disabilities.
Services are available for persons unable to use the regular bus services. Bristol Transit provides origin-to-destination service in accordance with Federal Transit Administration regulations.
