Dementia Education

Valley Program for Aging Services offers Dealing with Dementia which is a 4-hour workshop that includes an extensive Caregiver Guide. The examples and tips shared during the workshop will increase understanding of the caregiving experience and offer suggestions for managing the daily challenges of caring for someone living with dementia.

Dementia Friends is a 1-hour session for anyone who wants to learn more about dementia, how to recognize some of the signs of dementia, and simple actions to take to interact more sensitively.
