Who We Are
In 2008, the Bowen McCauley Dance Company (BMSC) worked with the Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) to bring its Dance for PD® program to the Mid-Atlantic region. BMDC is a licensed affiliate authorized to offer Dance for PD®-branded classes based on the MMDG's research-backed program. Licensed affiliates maintain a high standard of teaching, program delivery, and administrative support to ensure that classes they offer are safe, beneficial, and enjoyable. As an MMDG licensed affiliate, BMDC is also accredited as a Dance for PD® Certified Teaching Artists organization. Certified Teaching Artists complete advanced training, a peer-reviewed assessment process, and comprehensive fieldwork.
