Who We Are

Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley is a safe and secure program committed to providing compassionate stimulating daytime care for dependent adults while providing family support and an alternative to long-term care. Respite care is provided to adults needing short-term daytime care.

We do not provide transportation but do work with each family to assist with RADAR, Cortran, and LogistiCare providers.

Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley is an independent, nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. We are a United Way of Roanoke Valley partner agency and a member of the National Adult Day Services Association, the National Council on Aging, and the Virginia Adult Day Services Association. living activities to allow a break for the usual care provider and/or care recipient.

A medical report and tuberculosis screening are required from the client's primary care physician.

Referrals are made by the Local Office on Aging (LOA), the Center for Healthy Aging, insurance companies, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC).
