Riverside Middle Peninsula Cancer Center

Riverside Middle Peninsula Cancer Center (RMPCC), a department of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, is located on the hospital campus. The center opened in February 2004 providing the citizens of the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas state of the art technology and a strongly credentialed team of specialized doctors, nurses, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, physicists and other professionals. The center houses both the Medical Oncology department and the Radiation Oncology department, a significant convenience for cancer patients.

RMPCC Image Riverside Radiation Oncology-Gloucester, a department of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, is equipped to offer the most current treatment protocols. The equipment parallels what is available at large academic institutions, providing us the ability to treat all types of cancer with external beam radiation therapy. Conformal, or 3 dimensional radiation therapy and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) are utilized for prostate, breast, lung and brain tumors.
