LifeCare provides essential wheelchair van services for physically challenged individuals who require transportation to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and other outpatient medical care. LifeCare offers limited wheelchair van transportation services in Fredericksburg and Roanoke/Salem areas.  LifeCare also offers ambulatory services for bedridden patients to and from hospitals, nursing homes, doctor's offices, dialysis, radiation, physical therapy, and other outpatient services.

LifeCare covers appointed Logisticare transports (Medicaid Transportation only).

Employees assigned to wheelchair van services are required to participate in a standardized orientation program to ensure that every patient receives safe, caring, quality service.   Drivers are CPR certified, EVOC certified, and hold a valid Virginia driver's license with no negative points.  All LifeCare ambulances and wheelchair vans meet or exceed the Virginia Office of EMS regulations regarding required equipment.  All wheelchair vans also carry first aid and safety equipment.

LifeCare has locations in Springfield, Newport News, Charlottesville, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Salem-Roanoke, Martinsville, and Danville.
