Who We Are
Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) uses volunteers for its One-to-One tutoring program to elementary children from local schools who are struggling with schoolwork. The program matches volunteers with youth from local schools. The students are recommended by the school. The volunteer works with the same youth each week. The program runs from October through June. A weekly tutoring session is held at the Lorton Community Library.
