Cancer Information

American Cancer Society in Vienna helps cancer patients and families cope with the disease. Offers publications on nutrition for cancer patients and those undergoing chemotherapy. The adult program examines topics such as colorectal, breast, lung, uterine, oral, and skin cancers through films and speakers. Youth program emphasizes wellness and preventive health. Also, loans teaching kits to schools. Librarian on staff will help in the selection of books, videos, and other teaching materials.

Provides patients, family members, and the general public with information about cancer including diagnosis, prognosis, treatments, prevention, detection, support, rehabilitation, and pain management.
