Who We Are

The Petersburg Area Transit provides fixed-route public transportation service for people living in the Petersburg area including portions of the city of Colonial Heights, the city of Hopewell, and the county of Dinwiddie.

PAT offers connections to downtown Richmond through GRTC and the greater United States via Greyhound from the Petersburg Multimodal Passenger Station.

For 65 Years Old, Paratransit Service is available for individuals living in the City of Petersburg, in the City of Colonial Heights, and the City of Hopewell. 

Reservations for next-day service may be arranged by calling the Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) administrative offices at 804.324-5658, 24 hours a day. Confirmation will be made the same day or the morning of the next day.  Para-transit service is available from 6:00 am until 6:15 pm, Monday thru Friday, and 7:00 am until 6:15 pm on Saturday.
