Who We Are
Family Guidance Centers location in Powhatan is a comprehensive mental health facility for children, adolescents and adults. Services include individual and family therapy, marital or couples therapy and educational/psychological evaluations.
Specific areas of treatment include anxiety and mood disorders; marital and family conflicts; parenting issues; stress and phobias; issues of aging, and more.
The staff is comprised of licensed specialists (psychologists, social workers and professional counselors) who provide expert services for a variety of needs including, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, victims of emotional, physical, and sexual trauma, and family, pre-school, and educational problems. Therapy, counseling and testing are offered.
