Who We Are
Life With Cancer offers free programs and services to people with cancer and their family and friends, regardless of where treatment is received. Monthly calendar provides detailed information on a large number of classes, seminars, workshops and support groups related to diagnosis-specific cancers and topics of general interest to cancer survivors, including a large array of wellness classes.
Visit the Class Calendar on the website for the location, date and time of classes and to register online. All classes are free. Anyone in treatment or remission, as well as family members and friends, may attend regardless where treatment is received. For further information call 703-698-2526.
Services include individual and family counseling, as well as specific groups for patients/survivors, families and friends, couples and children. Classes are appropriate from time of diagnosis through treatment, survivorship and beyond. Offers consultation and educational sessions to physicians and allied health care professionals, corporations and community groups on the mental health aspects of cancer and the psychological and social needs of specific patients and family members.
