Bedford Memorial Hospital Cardiac Care offers a wide range of heart care services including stress echo, carotid ultrasound, venous ultrasound, echocardiograms, arterial studies, cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, nuclear stress testing, wellness program and cardiology clinics.

• The General Surgery Clinic in Forest is open Wednesday afternoons.  Call 540-586-3089 more information.  Dr. Eugene W. Lowe, Jr. is the attending surgeon.

• The General Surgery Clinic in Moneta is open Monday and Thursday afternoons.  Call 540-586-3089 for more information.  Dr. Eugene W. Lowe, Jr. and Dr. John W. Kerr are the attending surgeons.

• Bedford Memorial Hospital was award the the Accredited Chest Pain Center designation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC).  The first Center to be awarded in Central Virginia's rural area.  From the rescue personnel and hospitalists, to doctors, nurses and intensive care units, everyone learned the chest pain protocol.  The team through 23-hours observation, blood work and various heart exams strives to identify and prevent cardiovascular diseases.
