Who We Are
Violence Prevention programs are group programs for people of all ages to teach alternatives to violent behavior, as well as court-ordered intervention services.
Batterer Intervention groups address the dynamics of violence with those who are physically abusive with their partners or children. This program is an ongoing 18-week series and satisfies local court requirements.
Two Anger Management programs are available--one for youths and one for adults. The programs aim to inhibit violent behavior by improving social skills and impulse control and teaching empathy and compassion. Parental involvement is necessary for the youth program.
Group therapy programs are offered for adults who have been victims of trauma or molestation.
The Family Preservation program is geared toward families dealing with issues related to abuse and neglect. The services provided may include individual and family counseling, a parenting capacity assessment, parenting classes and play therapy.
