Who We Are
Albemarle County Department of Social Services provides protection for Adults from abuse and neglect. Investigates, assesses and responds to reports of suspected abuse, neglect and exploitation of disabled adults over age 18 and any person over age 60. In emergencies after hours, call for 24 hour intake at 1.888.832.3858. If it is a medical or police matter after hours, call Emergency Response system at 911.
