Heart Disease Education and Support

Mended Hearts Chapter 200 offers support to individuals with heart disease and their families. Membership consists of individuals who have had heart surgery, their spouses, relatives, medical professionals, and others who are interested in the purpose behind Mended Hearts.

Members visit a patient in the home and/or hospital before and after surgery and maintain telephone contact thereafter. Contact by internet is another way to give support and encouragement. Members distribute information of educational nature to heart disease patients. The Club also plans and conducts programs of social and educational interest for members, and for heart disease patients.

Hold monthly meetings: eight each year are informational and support, and three to four are social. The local Virginia chapter has over 500 members. Accepts donations. Chapter e-mail is MH200Info@gmail.com
