Mountain Empire Older Citizens Mountain Empire Older Citizens (MEOC) provides bi-monthly support group meetings through its Alzheimer's/Caregiver support groups, a resource lending library for family caregivers which offers an impressive variety of informative DVDs and publications on Alzheimer's Disease and caregiving, and public advocacy on issues impacting individuals with dementia.
Support groups meet:
- On the second Thursday every other month (February, April, June, August, October, and December) at 12:30PM at Mountain Empire Older Citizens in Big Stone Gap.
- A group also meets the fourth Tuesday every other month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 12:30PM at the First Christian Church in Pennington Gap.
