Family Companion Program and In home Care

Loudoun County Department of Family Services offers  a companion program to serves seniors who are over 60 and disabled adults over age 18.  Program is designed to assist adults in maintaining independence or allowing them to remain in their own home by providing light housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, feeding, supervision and companionship.



Number of hours provided depends on what services are needed. Hours can vary from few hours per week to 30 hours per week.  Usually there is a waiting list.



The Department of Family Services contracts the in-home services out to The Medical Team.
