Who We Are

The Lynchburg Community Action Group (Lyn-CAG) Housing Counseling Services Department offers services whose objectives are to expand homeownership opportunities, assist clients who are facing homelessness and provide improved access to affordable housing.  The department is a Certified HUD Counseling agency that also offers educational workshops and financial counseling.  Clients are assisted by Lyn-CAG through the following programs:

  • Foreclosure Mitigation counseling
  • Homeownership education
  • Homeless Prevention program
  • Rental counseling
  • Fair housing
