Who We Are

Women's Resource Center provides emotional support and counseling to adult and child victims of sexual assault.   Services include:

  • 24/7 sexual assault crisis hotlines, 540-639-1123 or toll free 800-788-1123
  • 24/7 A trained Emergency Advocate Response companion provides accompaniment to the hospital and law enforcement agencies.
  • 24/7 Emergency shelter
  • Crisis intervention
  • Counseling for adults and children

Supplementary services also are available for affected family members. Individuals involved in the Sexual Assault Program receive pertinent medical and legal information, applicable reading material and emotional assistance. Those traumatized by sexual assault may be counseled either in the Radford office or in confidential settings within New River Valley public schools.
