Who We Are

The Commuter Store® offers face-to-face information, sales, and assistance at locations in Arlington, Virginia, and affiliated stores in Maryland, and Mobile Commuter Stores that serve additional Arlington, Alexandria, and Washington, DC locations.  There are four locations in Arlington,

Printed bus schedules and other free publications are available. Staff will assist individuals in planning the best way to travel, whether by bus, rail, carpool, vanpool, bicycle, or walking.

At a Mobile Commuter Store, individuals can purchase fares, pick up a schedule, or ask our staff to help them find the best way to get from point A to point B.

Intake Process
Call or walk into the location. The store is located at the Shirlington Bus Station, near the intersection of South Randolph Street and 31st Street South, next to I-395. Please call in advance to order VRE tickets to be picked up at the Shirlington store.
