BenefitsCheckUp is a free web site that allows seniors with limited income to find out about hundreds of federal and state government programs that they may qualify for (medicationss, rent, in-home services, meal programs, utilities, transportation, food, and more).

Users enter information about their financial situation (no name or social security number is required) and the program will issue a printable report showing what benefit programs you may be entitled to and how to apply for them. In most cases, you cannot apply for the program, but you can find out the information you need to do so. The information you provide is confidential.

The service is free, simple and confidential. The information is available on the website only. No phone assistance is provided.
