Free Flu Vaccines

ROANOKE, Va. - Carilion Clinic Community Outreach is providing free flu vaccines from October 15 until November 16, 2019. They are giving them out to those 18 and older, no appointments needed. First Come, First Served They are completely free of charge, no matter what health insurance you have. Carilion says they are giving free vaccines out because they want to make it easier for folks to get their shots, since the disease is highly contagious. "We know that not everybody can get to their doctor or maybe they have difficulty paying, but either way, we provide free flu shots for the community as long as they are available, so first come first serve," Edie Naughton, a Registered Nurse and Health Educator with Carilion Clinic Community Health and Outreach, said.
