Event Cost: $135 Application Fee for Certification, FREE for Public Lectures. Instructor: Hill City Master Gardeners. Details: Green thumb optional! Just an interest in gardening/horticulture and community service are required to become a Virginia Master Gardener. Hill City Master Gardener Association is a service organization and provides many community volunteer opportunities for members. In this 9-week course, Virginia Extension Service specialists and local experts provide instruction on plants, landscaping, gardening, and more. To receive course materials and be certified as a Master Gardner, you must send your application by Feb 1, 2019 with the $135 fee to the Hill City Master Gardeners (HCMGA).
