The Senior Center in Charlottesville offers to the community several day trips in March, April and May.¶ Thursday, March 29 - Celebrate the history and beauty of the banks of the Potomac River during the National Cherry Blossom Festival with a two-hour cruise aboard Odyssey. Gratuities are not included. Call the travel office or book online. Members $128; Guests $138 April 21 - Racing Day - Hollywood Casino - Experience live thoroughbred horse racing and try your luck in the Vegas-style casino. A trip to Charles Town Races iN West Virginia. Lunch is on your own. Call the travel office; members $64 Guests $74. April 23 - Historic Garden Week - Travel to Virginia Hunt Country, west of Middleburg. Visit 4 grand estates. box lunch is included. Members $110; guests $120 April 24 - Natural Bridge Travel with Rick Britton to Waynesboro Heritage Foundation Museum. and Natural Bridge. Members $99; guests $109 April 29 - Virginia International Tattoo - Travel to Norfolk for 22nd annual Virginia International Tattoo. 200 performers- show includes military bands, pipes and drums, dancers, choirs. Lunch is on your own. Members $115; guests $125. May 23 - Hillwood Estate, Museum Gardens - Marjorie Merriweather Post's estate offers a comprehensive collection of Russian imperial art, Frech decorative art collection and 25 acres of landscaped gardens and woodlands. Lunch included in the garden cafe. Members $105; guests $115. July 11 - Riverside Center for the Performing Arts - Always Patsy Cline - Tribute to Patsy Cline. Musical play includes 27 of Patsy's hits. Lunch included. Members $105 guests $ 115.
